Fitbit has teamed up with Deepak Chopra

If you weren’t able to be convinced to relax by a machine on it’s own?

How about having a crack at relaxing using a machine guided by the chill expert Deepak Chopra.

Together, Fitbit and Deepak Chopra have created custom mindfulness and meditation sessions to help users manage stress, sleep better and improve overall wellbeing – introducing Deepak Chopra’s Mindful Method. Many Kiwis will recognise the name Deepak Chopra, M.D., Pioneer of Integrative Medicine, and Founder of The Chopra Foundation and Chopra Global,  also well known as Oprah’s meditation guru.

Mindful Method, available for Fitbit Premium members, was created to make mindfulness practice more accessible to people worldwide. The wellness collection will help users to improve emotional wellbeing as an important part of your overall health, featuring audio and video sessions led by Deepak Chopra on impactful, relevant themes like mindfulness, sleep, stress management, mental wellness and the mind-body connection. A free 90-day trial is available to users who are new or returning to Premium.

Featuring 30+ inspiring mindfulness sessions for Fitbit Premium members at all levels; each session is less than 20 minutes to make it easy to fit mindfulness into your day, on topics ranging from meditation, managing emotions, winding down for the day, stress relief and more.

Stress is more prevalent than ever today, with more than one-third of people across the globe reporting physical and mental side effects of stress. Using mindfulness as a tool to better manage your emotional wellbeing through practices like meditation and breathing exercises, can have a very positive impact on health.

The partnership is a huge and very exciting announcement for Fitbit, who are driven to make the world a healthier place.

Please see the attached press release for full details on the partnership and Mindful Method.
