Microsoft and Mojang have announced that Minecraft Dungeons will be available on Steam, September 22.
You will be able to get either the Standard Edition or the Ultimate Edition. The Ultimate Edition will also include the base game plus all six DLCs, bonus content like the game soundtrack, and hi-res digital artwork of the game’s DLC settings.
Alongside the upcoming release on Steam, they shared news that three SKUs – the Hero Edition, Hero Pass, and Season Pass – will be discontinued from digital sales from August 31 and will be available in retail stores until stock runs out.
Players will still be able to purchase the same DLCs and in-game content, which will be available as part of the Standard Edition (game only) and Ultimate Edition (game and all six DLCs).
The Hero Edition, Hero Pass, and Season Pass will discontinue from digital sales from August 31 and will be available in retail stores until stock runs out.
If you’re a collector of fine things in the physical realm, then get excited – because a physical version of the Ultimate Edition will be available in retail stores on October 26 for $39.99 USD. Now you’ll have something to gaze at longingly when you’re not able to play the game!
The countdown to September 22 has begun and there are plenty of things you can do to prepare. Add Minecraft Dungeons to your Steam Wishlist, read up on the world of Dungeons and do plenty of vocal exercises. Don’t look at me like that, you need to warm up before you harmonize with all 215 tracks in the game soundtrack.
