Marvel’s Guardians of the Galaxy is getting close. 6 days close to be exact, and so naturally there is a new trailer. This CGI trailer is loaded with the silliness we would expect from Guardians of the Galaxy.

The game is so close. Soooo damn close.

This same Huddle mechanic will prove essential for Marvel’s Guardians of the Galaxy players as they fight to overcome seemingly impossible odds throughout their journey across the galaxy. In the game, players will be able to call a Huddle during combat. Here you can choose which motivational words to offer the team. If chosen correctly, all of the Guardians will receive a powerup. This of course makes it easier for them to bang enemy heads while listening to one of the game’s 30 headbanging tracks.

Do you want to see pre-launch hype building taken to a new level? Well for the Guardians of the Galaxy game, a new 80’s metal band has been made. The game will have Starlord named after a band called… Star-Lord.

Now they can’t have that line without, so now there is a band. And they can’t have a band without a music video, so now there is a music video.

The bands singles are also featured on the official Marvel’s Guardians of the Galaxy Original Video Game Playlist, which has also been released. You can Spotify almost the whole track list here!

But back to the music video. It has been inspired by classic ‘80s cartoons and the song is actually shockingly decent. It is no suprise superfan Peter Quill was inspired to adopt the “Star-Lord” moniker in the game’s universe. But that’s not all! Eidos-Montréal has also released a vintage VHS recording of the Star-Lord Band performing the single on stage in all their long-haired glory, and combined it with the animated music video to create a headbangin’ extended cut.

Created specifically for Marvel’s Guardians of the Galaxy, the Star-Lord Band full-length album will be released standalone alongside the game when it launches on October 26.

It is only a month until Marvel’s Guardians of the Galaxy is releasing. I know, scary soon right?. Well two new videos for have been released in case you weren’t hyped enough yet..

They each feature insights directly from Senior Gameplay Director Patrick Fortier. The first video has Fortier honing in on how the Guardians synergize in battle. Meanwhile the second one focuses on how players can lead the Guardians outside of it.

Just as they have their own distinct personalities out of combat, they boast unique specialties and abilities on the battlefield. Strategic management will be essential to take down the vast array of different enemies encountered while adventuring through the cosmos.

Rocket serves as the group’s multi-target explosive specialist, Groot as its protector and healer, Drax as its staggering wrecking ball, Gamora as its high-damage single-target assassin, and Star-Lord as, of course, its versatile “so-called” leader.

Marvel’s Guardians of the Galaxy will be available on PS5, PS4, Xbox Series X|S and XB1, and PC on October 26, 2021.

A new video has released for the upcoming Marvel’s Guardians of the Galaxy game which is releasing scarily soon.

The videos gives new dev insight revealing the inspiration behind character design in Marvel’s Guardians of the Galaxy. It deep dives the designs of each of the members of the misfit team we have all come to love.

For anyone who hasn’t enjoyed the instant classic movies, they are: Star-Lord (a.k.a Peter Quill), Gamora, Drax, Rocket and Groot.

Marvel’s Guardians of the Galaxy allows players to experience a fresh take on the Guardians. This behind-the-scenes commentary from Bruno Gauthier-Leblanc reveals the care taken with each character. It ensures the designs balanced inspiration from the wider Marvel universe with the original narrative of the game.

Bruno Gauthier-Leblanc says: “When designing the Guardians, it was important they remained true to the narrative we had built while still being instantly recognisable as the Guardians of the Galaxy fans know and love. We combined inspiration from Marvel comic lore with our own character backstories to craft new visuals for this fun and dysfunctional family, infusing each Guardian with specific design aspects that also tie into gameplay.”

Bruno reveals the rock-and-roll space pirate persona of the self-proclaimed leader of the Guardians inspired Star-Lord’s bold appearance. An example of this is Starlord having an outfit loaded with references to his ‘80s childhood.

Drax the Destroyer’s appearance tells of his extensive combat history, with each Katathian scarification on his body representing a victory. His individual character design also links to the environment of his home planet of Katath, where architecture mirrors the circular nature of Drax’s battle tributes.

The character design team created a strong, powerful look for Gamora. As the Deadliest Woman in the Galaxy they drew on comic inspiration for her striking black and white suit and adding some deadly embellishments to make her battle-ready at any given moment.

Bruno also explains how the relationships between characters influenced certain visual choices. Their designs have been intrinsically connected to represent the shared friendship. An example is how Rocket is wearing a bead of Groot in his goatee. The interwoven designs also show how they work in unison during combat. The harness on Groot’s back for example, enables Rocket to use him as a turret.

A new video has been released for Marvel’s Guardians of the Galaxy. The game was already looking pretty god but now it is looking amazing.

It picks up the story with Star-Lord and the Guardians as they commence their plan to negotiate with Lady Hellbender. Lady Hellbender is the leader of the Hellraisers, queen of Seknarf Nine and notorious monster collector.

With the decision left to the player on which “rare monster” to sell, AKA Groot or Rocket.

This memorable moment will ignite a chain of events that sees our band of misfits off on their wild ride across the cosmos, caught in a struggle for the fate of the universe.

Square has had a massive E3 showcase today. They have unleashed details of Guardians of the Galaxy which is releasing this year, more details about Life is Strange True Colors and BABYLON’S FALL and a whole lot of mobile stuff.

After seeing the FF7 mobile games announced earlier this year it shouldn’t be a shock that Square Enix is doubling down on mobile. Well now they have a new Hitman mobile game in the works, NieR Re[in]carnation, and classic Final Fantasy’s coming to mobile.

Marvel’s Guardians of the Galaxy

The heavily rumored Marvel’s Guardians of the Galaxy has been announced. The game will be a third-person narrative action-adventure game which combines original storytelling with single-player gameplay.

Marvel’s Guardians of the Galaxy will release simultaneously on the PS5, PS4, Xbox Series X|S and Xbox One, and on PC on October 26, 2021.

Hitman Sniper: The Shadows

Hitman Sniper: The Shadows introduces a wholly original story set in the Hitman Universe. The game focuses on events following the disappearance of Agent 47 and follows a group of highly skilled snipers called The Shadows. Diana Burwood and the International Contract Agency (ICA) activate Initiative 426, aka The Shadows, to eliminate this threat.

Hitman Sniper: The Shadows is a free-to-play game set to be released in 2021 on iOS and Android. More exciting updates will be revealed later this year.

Final Fantasy Pixel Remaster Series

Six original Final Fantasy titles that inspired a generation of RPG Fans are coming to life once more in the Final Fantasy pixel remaster series. Fans and newcomers are invited to dive into six masterpieces that bridge the ages with unique tales of epic adventure.

The company will release the beloved titles individually, from Final Fantasy I through Final Fantasy VI, for Steam and mobile platforms.

Life is Strange: True Colors

Life is Strange fans across the globe were given a deep dive look at the supernatural power that players will control in the award-winning series’ next major entry, Life is Strange: True Colors.

Stranger Of Paradise Final Fantasy Origin

A new action RPG has been made in collaboration with Team NINJA, creators of the NINJA GAIDEN and Nioh series, and brings a new vision to the Final Fantasy series.

Peps will be able to purchase Stranger Of Paradise Final Fantasy Origin on PS5, PS4, Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One and PC in 2022.

A trial version of Stranger Of Paradise Final Fantasy Originis available today through June 24^th, 2021 7:59 p.m. (PDT) / June 25^th, 12.59pm AEST.
