Oppo Find X5 series and Enco X2 Earbuds are coming in March

Oppo has done the old Oppo trick. Announced a bunch of super awesome phones! This time it is their latest Find X5 series which now has 3 members in the family.

The Find X5 Pro which is loaded with some absurd features and cameras of course. Then the X5 Lite is at the lower end, also looking loaded with features given the price. The new member of the family is the middle child, The Oppo Find X5! This one sits somewhere in the middle, so if you want to go premium but 2K is just out of reach, well reach for this one.

They are also releasing the Enco X2 earbuds, and as someone who has been using the original Enco earbuds since launch I can confirm that is awesome.

The prices comin at $1,999 for the pro, $1,599 for the standard, and $899 for the Lite. Those sweet ear buds will be a nice $349 but if they have the lifespan of their predecessors then that is also good value. They integrate so perfectly with the Oppo OS as well so as a pairing it is as chefs-kiss as they come.

You can order all this new kit in Aotearoa New Zealand from the end of March. No exact date yet.

More info about the cameras!

So many of our life moments are caught on our phones now, so Oppo’s dedication to cameras is handy. This time they have gone all out to include helping in those patchy night time snaps.

Night video presents a major challenge for smartphones, so OPPO has designed a dedicated imaging NPU, MariSilicon X, to bring the night to life, without sacrificing colour.

Based on a 6-nanometer process crafted for top-tier imaging performance, the MariSilicon X packs the most powerful AI computing power available today. The result is a four times improvement in perceived night video resolution, less grain and superior colour reproduction, making 4K Ultra Night Video possible for the first time on an Android smartphone, with each frame as clean as a still photo.

OPPO’s MariSilicon X is just one key element of Find X5 Pro’s advanced imaging system. The wide and ultra-wide-angle cameras both feature Sony’s advanced 50MP IMX766 flagship sensors.

The wide-angle camera also features a first-of-its-kind Five-axis OIS system, which improves with every use to counter handshake, reduce noise and sharpen scenes.

With superior 4K Ultra Night Video capturing across wide and ultra-wide cameras, the Find X5 Series boasts the best wide and ultra-wide imaging quality across both stills and videos in the industry.

What’s more, Find X5 Pro comes with an upgraded front camera, which is an intelligent 32MP shooter that captures details in brilliant clarity also thanks to the MariSilicon X Imaging NPU. This allows boosted dynamic range and true-to-life textures that will make selfies pop.

Also the Find X5 series is the first OPPO smartphone series to incorporate the best of Hasselblad software – Hasselblad Camera for Mobile – to enhance and finetune the beautiful and natural colours of your photography.

Oppo is still supporting the Nix

And of course it isn’t an Oppo article without mentioning the mighty Wellington Phoenix.

After taking a 1 nil lead against Sydney FC the mighty Nix wound up clinching a tight 1 all draw. Highlights of course were Ball getting a well deserved goal, and us creeping up that ladder further.

That and that beautiful Oppo branded kit they wore.
