Intel Reveals Specs for 12 – 18 Core X-series Processors

In case you missed it, Intel last week took the wraps off their 12 – 18 Core X-series processors. The new processors were first revealed at the end of May 2017 but now we have the full spec sheet and a release window of September.

The new Core X-series are touted as Intel’s most accessible processors yet, capable of meeting the needs of content creators, VR guru’s and of course the PC Master Race gamers who wanna overclock the crap out of every piece of hardware in their gaming rig. For those that wish to then sell their old processors to make a little bit of money back on your rigs old parts, have a look at companies like exIT Technologies that offer you a quote for your chosen items for sale.

Megatasking and multi-threaded workloads will be nothing for the big boys in the X-series range with up to 18 cores, 36 threads and 68PCIe 3.0 lanes. Intel are saying that these new processors can deliver 20% better performance for VR content creation and up to 30% faster processing of 4K video editing. Gamers can also get gains of up to 30% when it comes to mega-tasking.

But I’ve waffled on enough, all you really care about is the full spec sheet, take a look for yourself:
